For the case that will not move.
Processing stalls. The belief will not shift. The client dissociates every time you get close. This group is for the cases that do not follow the protocol you were taught, and for the clinicians who are tired of guessing at what to try next.

The work this group actually does.
Standard protocol assumes a client who can stay present, tolerate the affect, and move through the phases in order. Plenty of clients cannot, and that is not a failure of the therapist. This group is about what you do next, with real cases on the table.
Four people, two hours, and enough room for everyone to bring something real.
- Looping and blocking beliefs
- What to do when processing stalls
- Recognising and pacing dissociation
- Modifications to the standard protocol
- Integrating Parts and Ego State interventions
- Challenging and complex presentations
- Case conceptualization and target selection
- Bring a live case and leave with a plan
Pick the dates that work for you.
Sessions run bi-weekly on Friday mornings, with one Tuesday afternoon to work around the September long weekend. Every session runs two hours and is capped at four people, so each person has real time on their case.
Most people take the whole series, because the group gets better as you build on each other's cases. If you would rather register for every date in one go, say so in your note and Angelique will hold your seat.
What to expect, before you arrive.
Who it's for
Clinicians who have completed an EMDRIA-approved Basic Training. You do not need to be certified, and you do not need to be pursuing certification.
What to bring
A live case, or a question you have been sitting with. Come prepared, and follow your own college's requirements for client consent before discussing any case.
How your hours count
Group consultation hours can count toward EMDRIA certification, up to 10 of the 20 hours required. Angelique also works as a Clinical Supervisor and meets the criteria set by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, so hours can count toward clinical supervision requirements for registration at the same time.
What is expected of you
Everything shared in the group stays in the group. Come ready to think out loud, ask the question you are worried sounds basic, and share the wins as well as the stuck points.
Certification requirements are set by EMDRIA and may evolve. Angelique will confirm the current details with you when you reach out.
Bring the case that is keeping you up.
Tell me which dates you are interested in and a little about where you are getting stuck. I will confirm your seat and send you everything you need before the first session.
